Koneko tore open the letter that she had received from the principal as she walked down the road, close to her house. It was probably another bloody letter telling her ‘parents’ that she had skipped class again, and was failing.
Dear Mrs Hanami,
Your daughter, Koneko Hanami, has not been turning up to some class, such as her English class, repeated times. Your daughter needs to learn these classes for her social and un-social ablities otherwise she might not be able to get the jobs that she wants in future. Please inform your daughter of such matters, so that she will turn up to classes more often, if not all the time.
Yours truly, Mrs. Kanakimi
Koneko snorted, “Yeah right, ‘Please inform your daughter of such matters’, not this time, she made a mistake of giving you to me, didn’t she because, you aren’t coming home with me. I have places to go and so do you and I’m afraid you are going straight into the rubbish bin!” She tossed the letter, envelope and all, into the nearest trashcan. “Now, where was I?”
