Name: Miki Hamaguchi
Age: 11-12
Zodiac Sign: Tiger
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Miki always has a fake smile plastered on her face. She doesn’t want anyone knowing that she is really crying inside. She has beautiful pink hair that is put up as shown in the picture, she has adorable red eyes that only if you knew the pain she felt, or if you looked into them for long enough would you be able to see the pain that clouds them.
Personality: Miki is a very secluded person and rarely talks to anyone. Though she speaks when spoken to that’s all that she’ll do. She doesn’t have any friends at all and seems to push anyone who tries to be her friend away. She’s afraid of hurting them like when her parents committed suicide supposedly because of her.
Bonds: None
History:
When Miki was 4 years old she accidentally knocked over a candle in her house which set the house on fire. The fire fighters just barely managed to put the fire out before to much was damaged. When Miki went crying to her mother and father they comforted her and Miki thought that they really meant it, she had no idea how much they hated her for what she had done.
From ages 5-10 years old Miki lived with what she thought was a very happy family. Every time she woke up and went downstairs to eat her mother would be there smiling with the table already set to it. She thought that her mothers smile was the best thing ever and her father’s hugs were what she thought, also the best. Then one day Miki asked her parents if anything made them sad. This one question turned her whole life around. Her parents starting avoiding her, there was no one to greet Miki whenever she woke up, no one who would make her breakfast for her, neither was there anyone who made lunch for her. She had to completely change her lifestyle to fit what she now had to do. She hoped that if she kept smiling that her parents would start talking to her again, but only a few weeks afterwards her parents both committed suicide. Miki never quite got over what happened those few days afterwards. Cause during those next few days her 11th birthday came and went. She went without any gifts, without a party, without even a single happy birthday said to her. Everyone blamed her for the death of their parents, Miki tried to ask why but they just turned away and though it seemed like Miki should be very sad. She still tried to keep the same smile that she had tried with her parents. Hoping that maybe, through some miracle, she could go back in time and fix the world she had ruined through one question, but she knew she couldn’t. So she just keeps on smiling, not showing the sadness that she really held deep in her heart.
It was in the middle of the school year that her parents killed themselves. It was all over the news, two parent’s dead, under investigation. They even tried to get her to say something. But she refused to speak to anyone about what had happened. All anyone knew was what the police had figured out. The message they had found that read. I can’t keep loving her like I was trying, how was I suppose to answer her. I tried my best to keep loving her, wasn’t she happy enough. Why couldn’t that damn child just be happy? Miki was the first one to find this letter, and it brought tears streaming down her face, she had been happy, why couldn’t they see that. She was just curious. This one note changed Miki’s life forever. She knew that crying couldn’t change anything that it couldn’t fix anything. She had cried for days after that, but it hadn’t brought her parents back. After a few days of doing this, Miki realized that when she cried it only brought grief to herself, not comfort. So everyday she did her best to keep a smile, but every night she cries herself to sleep in the little apartment she lives in.
[To all my friends in real life who read this: I’m sorry about the little cussing I did in there. But she was an adult, and it was her final note to her child, who she couldn’t keep loving. So umm….yeah. Okay. I’ll be going now.]
