Yuki simply ignored Haru and turned to Kyo. "Miss Honda suggested this, you stupid cat. And this night is Halloween, we're suppose to wear a costume on Halloween, that's why we had this party," he said flatly. He then heard the doorbell ring and quickly went to the door. "Oh, hello Machi, welcome to the party," Yuki said while opening the door. Great, at least I can talk to somebody here until it's over, he thought as he gestured Machi to come in.
((Um, why did Kyo say stupid rat?))

"Hi Kaichou."( President)Machi stepped inside feeling shy around everyone. she really didn't know what to do next or who to talk to. Everyone seemed to know everyone and be very close. It made her feel a stranger. Mach saw a chair that was away from everyone and she sat down in it trying to be careful not to wreck her wings. Why am I here again?

(=D Aki's costume x3) Akika slowly paced herself towards the house somewhat in the woods, holding a piece of paper tightly in her hand; a crippled invitation. She was sure it was meant for someone else, but hoped the person who wrote the invitation was kind enough to let her in. Taking a small gulp, Akika straightened out her witch costume. She pressed her pointed hat more onto her head and forced a bright smile on her face. All ready. After finally managing herself to walk to the doorstep, she took in a deep breath. Would they accept her in? Or was this house going to kick her out and make her go home? She didn't want to go home; not now at least. Her mother was stressed than ever for little kids coming to their house asking for candy; and her father was too busy taking care of Kiseo, her little brother. Akika was now treated lower than dirt, so she made up an excuse saying someone invited her to a party. Of course, the parents didn't argue about the child going. In fact, they were happy that the child was going to be out of the house. Knowing that that was her parent's real thoughts, a frown came to her face again. Akika quickly shook her head and forced a smile back on, then slowly reached up. She timidly rung the doorbell with her small finger and waited for someone to answer. (This... long enough? xD; *doesn't want to make it too long*)

[ as Kiso ]
As the lights went out Kiso felt something grasp onto his arm. Reflexes wanted to push the clinging figure away, but then he lifted his other hand and felt Miki's soft hair. He then realized that she might be afraid of the dark. He reached his arm around her, like a brother would do to his sister, and held her next to him. The warmth of his body against hers made him smile. A true, genuine smile. But it was so dark around that it would be nearly impossible for anyone to see. His arms were wrapped around her and his head resting against hers. [Don't worry Miki...] he said quietly, soothingly. He reached up slowly and ran his fingers through the tips of her hair, as if to calm her. He breathed calmly and looked up for moment, even though he could see nothing. He flinched slightly as the sound of a doorbell rang through the room. He knew his place was not to go and answer the door. IT wasn't even his house. He knew his place at that moment was to stay there, with Miki...

[you return ^^]
[As Miki]
Images of a dreadful memory flashed through Miki's mind as she clung to Kiso's arm. Flames flashed in front of her eyes, reflecting an imaginary light in her red eyes. She could almost clearly see the flames that had started in her home, the anger that was in the eyes of her mother, her mother may not have known that she had seen them, but Miki knew what she had seen in the eyes of her mom that dreadful day. She finally was brought back to the reality of the darkness she was now in at the soft touch of Kiso's hands through her hair. Kiso was the first one who had ever treated her with care since that day. He was the one she felt at ease with, the one she felt would accept her every worry without getting mad at her. A small invisible tear fell down her face and dropped to the ground, leaving a small darkened area on the floor. Invisible to everyone because of the darkness, for once she truly felt happy.
[as Kyo]
Kyo finally became so tired of the darkness that he stomped over to a light switch and flipped it up. Illuminating the room in a relieving light. He figured that every was to busy doing their own thing that no one would answer the door. He walked over to the door and opened it up, at first not seeing the little girl who stood there. Kyo glanced around before staring down and seeing the girl in the witch costume. Kyo had never seen the girl before so his first response to seeing her was, [Who's the shrimp?]

The child blinked and flinched as the door opened, even though she expected it to open after hearing footsteps coming closer to it from inside the house. When asked who she was, she struggled to say her words. "A... Um..." A few streaks of blush came across the girl's pale cheeks. She looked down and pulled her hat foward, hiding her face. The five year old took in a deep breath before answering. "A....Akika Sohma...! Aki... Found invitation.... Can Aki come in...?"

[as Kyo] [yeah it's short but there really isn't much I can do]
Kyo stared down at the little girl for a second before stepping aside. [Sure, whatever] Kyo said just as another cold wind blew in through the door, [But hurry up.] He ended angrily. Now there was no candles that could be blown out but the wind was still a numbing cold. [/center]

The child smiled a bit as she got the permission to enter the house. She slowly walked in, not quite sure just yet of what to do. She recognized a few people from the first year she did the dance for the New Year's, but that was a very few. The only people she seemed to figure was Yuki and Haru, and the very slight blurry rememberance of Kyo. Other than that, the child was alone, not sure what she was doing in the house anymore.
Akika made sure she was polite enough not to interrupt people who were talking in the house, but it was hard. As she glanced around, no one seemed to be around her age.
The child frowned as she continued to walk around in the house in her witch costume, not sure who to talk to or what to do.

[ as Kiso ]
I open my eyes I try to see but I’m blinded by the white light I can’t remember how I can’t remember why I’m lying here tonight
Kiso looked around as the lights flipped on. He let go of Miki and stood next to her. The red haired boy watched as a young girl entered the house. Kiso shivered as a cold burst of wind rushed through the house from where the door had been opened. As he looked at the young girl in her witch outfit, Kiso smiled faintly. She reminded him of his younger sister. No one had ever known that Kiso had any siblings. His sister died at a very young age about six years ago when Kiso was ten. She was four years old and admired her older brother more than anything else. Kiso had taken her to a place on a high hill that ended at a pond which was covered in ice. Kiso and his friends would sled down the hill and onto the ice every year. This year, he decided to take his younger sister. The other boys teased him for this, but Kiso didn’t care. He loved his sis more than anything. He noticed his sister looked worried about the hill. But he told her it would be fine. Kiso didn’t notice the sign stuck in the ice that read: “Danger! Thin Ice!” until it was too late. He tried to run after his sister as she slid towards the thin spot in the ice. However, he didn’t reach her in time. She fell through with a shriek. That loud high pitched noise still haunts Kiso to this day. He shivered and looked around for a second before continuing the story in his head. He wanted them to stop but they wouldn’t. Kiso remembered jumping into the freezing water, his body becoming numb almost upon impact. He was swimming around but couldn’t see his sister anywhere. Had she gotten out? Had she drowned? Kiso swallowed as the horrible memories haunted his mind. He pictured himself running home with tears stinging his face and the cold wind burning his eyes. He remembered telling his mother what had happened. Kiso could never forget the look on her face as she screamed at him before grapping her coat, “This is all your fault!” Young Kiso followed a ways behind her as she ran to the doctor’s office a little ways down the road in town. Kiso’s family could not afford a car at that time. And each time Kiso took a step he felt his heart sink, just like his feet were sinking into the snow. Kiso remembered as he watched from behind a tree as men threw ropes into the water, and hauled his lifeless sister’s body from the watery graveyard. He knew he shouldn’t have made her go down that hill. He knew she was scared. He told her it was going to be alright. And now look… She’s dead and it’s all my fault Kiso thought over and over. The next day was her funeral. Kiso sat in the back as people came and spoke kind words to his mother. As they walked away they would glare at him with the most sickening expression they could muster. As they lowered the coffin into the ground, Kiso did not cry nor show any emotion. For it felt like it was his own funeral. And you don’t cry at times like that…
And I can’t stand the pain And I can’t make it go away No I can’t stand the pain
Kiso snapped back into reality. He wondered how long he had been staring off. He turned and looked softly at Miki. He didn’t know what it was about that young girl that captured his heart. She was the only one on earth who made him feel like he had a purpose in life. She seemed to be very unobtrusive. Maybe that is what Kiso liked about her. He couldn’t even tell. But when he wasn’t near her, all he could think about was being near her. And when he was near her, it was like he was at peace with the world. He draped his black and white painted arm over her shoulders with a faint grin. [It’s okay Miki. I’m here.] he spoke kindly.
How could this happen to me I made my mistakes I’ve got no where to run The night goes on As I’m fading away I’m sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me

[as Miki]
Miki looked at Kiso and gave a slight smile, and closed her eyes, her spirit lifted as soon as light illuminated the room. Miki wondered why she seemed to always feel at ease when she was with the older boy. Whenever she was alone she seemed to feel lost, abandoned, alone. Though when she was with Kiso, she felt that she was whole again. That a piece of her heart had been found after long ago being lost in the tears of sorrow. Miki became lost in her thoughts until she heard the sweet voice of a young child. She opened up her eyes to see the young child wandering around like she didn't have anywhere to go. Miki instantly became overwhelmed with how cute the kid was that she couldn't resist going over and seeing her. She rushed away from Kiso's side and went over to the child. [Komban Wa.] Miki greeted the child.
[She says she feels happy with Kiso and then she leaves his side xD Shows that she can be carefree sometimes xDD]
